The Camel Art Foundation has held a total of 24 regional art exhibitions in all four regions of India with prize money of 1,50,000/- in each exhibition. The winners of these exhibitions are eligible for selection to EURO ART TOUR. The selected winners are sent on a fabulous trip to Europe (five days each in London and Paris) to visit the world famous art.
They also get to visit galleries and museums like Montmarte, Louvre, Picasso Museum , Pompidou Centre, Madam Tussads, Victoria and Albert, National Gallery, Orsay Centre, Royal School of Arts, Rodin Sculpture and the Tate Gallery in London and Paris . What’s more, they get an opportunity to visit place of interest like London Tower , London Eye, Buckingham Palace , Victory Gate and Eiffel Tower !
A group of eminent artists form a panel of judges to select the artists for Euro Art Tour. One art professor and one eminent artist are nominated by Camlin for this tour to guide the winners during their visit. One art teacher, a winner from 'All India Art Teachers Exhibition’ is also selected for this tour.
Since its inception, Camel Art Foundation has successfully conducted four Euro Art Tours and more than 40 artists have visited European art galleries through this endeavour.
This year, exempting London , the lucky winners will have the opportunity to visit Rome and Florence in addition to Paris .
They will begin their inspiring journey in Paris with a visit to the Eiffel Tower , Notre-dame, Montmartre , Louvre Museum , Rodin, Orsay Museum , Picasso Museum and Pompidou Centre over a duration of 5 days.
The stimulating tour continues in Rome, the Eternal City, with an excursion by night and visits to the various museums and art galleries including the Vatican Museum, Sistine Chapel, Galleria, Doria, Pamphili and Galleria nazional d' Arte Modern.
After these three invigorating days, the artists will spend their last two days in Florence , the heart of the Renaissance period and the home of the fine arts and literature. Florence has powerful symbols of Italian and European culture present in the Bargello, the Muzio del opera and the Uffizi.
