Camel Art Foundation held it’s 1st art exhibition in the year 1998 at the prestigious Jehangir Art Gallery in Mumbai.

Since then, Camlin Limited has substantially contributed to the growth of art, artists, art appreciation and art education in India through Camlin Art Foundation. To celebrate the spirit of art, this non-profit organization holds four art exhibitions each year, in the Northern, Southern, Eastern and Western regions that plays host to more than 12,000 professionals and art students.

The preliminary judging is done by a panel of eminent artists on the basis of photographs or transparencies. Selected paintings qualify for the final round.

Besides getting an opportunity to display their work, the artists with the best paintings are also rewarded with grand prizes from Camlin. The entries, categorized into professional artists and art students, are sub divided by the art media like Oils, Water, Acrylics, and Mixed Media.

In the exhibition the paintings are sold if the artist wishes so and the entire amount is handed to the artist. The Camel Art Foundation does not keep any commission from the sale of paintings.

There are four 1st prizes of Rs. 25000/- for each media in the professional category.

For the student category there are five prizes of Rs. 10000/- comprising of Rs. 5000/- in cash and Rs. 5000/- worth of Art Materials.
