NOTE:
The Oil Colours are grouped in 4 series for price differentiation and not for their durability or permanency
Camel Students’ Oil Colours are developed to provide the highest quality within moderate cost limits. They are primarily designed for use by both amateur and student artists. They are available in 42 shades.
Camel Texture White is a multipurpose resin impasto medium, good for relief work or collages on canvas and wood. As it dries quickly and does not peel off, it serves the dual purpose of padding and lining
Camel Purified Linseed Oil is a suitable medium for oil painting. It is doubly-refined to remove all wax impurities to produce a very clear liquid, which does not react with or change the shade of the colour used. It adds flexibility to the oil colours.
Camli-Gel, when mixed with oil colour renders a non-chalky fresh effect on the painting by increasing the gloss and transparency of oil colours. It improves weather resistance, accelerates drying and prevents uncontrolled running of colours
Camel Distilled Turpentine is an organic solvent, specially re-distilled and treated to quicken drying oil colours. It is a thinner for oil colours and is also useful as a cleansing agent for brushes
Camel Picture Varnish is a post-painting coat for oil paintings. After allowing the oil painting to dry for 6 to 12 months (depending on the temperature and weather conditions), a coat of picture varnish will not only protect the painting but also impart a gloss to it.
